Danie Ferrara

Daniel R. Ferrara, DO, FACEP

President / Chairman of the Board

Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Ferrara has over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience. He earned his D.O. from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986 after completing pre-medical education at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. Dr. Ferrara’s post-graduate training in Emergency Medicine was completed at Lincoln Hospital/New York Medical College in the Bronx and the Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn.

Neil Schamban

Neil Schamban, MD, FACEP

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Schamban is a Diplomate of Middlebury University, class of 1991, and earned his doctorate in Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1995. He completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Connecticut Integrated Program in 1998 and continued on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Harvard University, Boston Children’s Hospital in 2000. Dr. Schamban is boarded in Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine and has over 15 years of experience in leadership and medicine.

Dr. Schamban served as the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Pegasus Emergency Group from 2008 – 2014. He spearheaded the growth of Pegasus from a single rural hospital in Alabama into a national emergency medicine organization. In 2014, Pegasus Emergency Group merged with Island Medical Management. Dr. Schamban has welcomed the opportunity to be the CEO of IMM. His founding principles include providing cost effective, high quality, and compassionate health care to all patients and establishing long standing relationships with the communities we serve.

Vincent Morra

Vincent Morra

Chief Operating Officer

Vincent Morra has over 26 years of healthcare experience. He served as CEO of NES Healthcare Group for over 10 years, and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Island Medical Management. Mr. Morra’s leadership and industry experience have propelled him to lead multiple initiatives in business development, customer retentions, and mergers/acquisitions in Emergency Medicine. In addition Mr. Morra serves on multiple community boards.

Howard Dickey-White

Howard Dickey-White, MD, FACEP

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Howard Dickey-White, co-founder of 4M Emergency, earned an M.D. from Northwestern University Medical School in 1978 and continued on to complete dual residencies in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Dr. White is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Subsequent to 4M Emergency’s 2014 merger with IMM, Dr. White began serving in the role of Chief Medical Officer.

For over 20 years, Dr. White held the position of Medical Director at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. During this time he employed the latest advanced concepts in Emergency Medicine to make this Emergency Department one of the most efficient in the country. Dr. White is currently Chairman of the Emergency Medicine Council at University Hospitals Health Systems.

Recognized as a leader in Emergency Medicine, Dr. White has actively participated in the American College of Emergency Physicians state and national committees and programs. In addition to his extensive clinical and operational experience, Dr. White is a member of the Board of Directors for MedWorks and is active in humanitarian aid efforts to provide medical care, training, and supplies to low resource communities both locally and throughout the developing world.

Joan F. de la Prida

Joan F. de la Prida, MBA

Chief Financial Officer

Joan F. de la Prida has over 28 years of experience in financial management and accounting. She presently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Island Medical Management Holdings, L.L.C. (IMMH). In this capacity, Ms. de la Prida has been an integral part of the senior management team that has propelled IMMH from a small, New York based emergency management group into a multi-state healthcare enterprise. She has helped run the day-to-day operations of the company throughout its history, overseeing Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Facilities, Legal, Marketing, and Risk Management.

Prior to joining IMMH, Ms. de la Prida was a Vice President at predecessor banks of J.P. Morgan Chase and Bank of America. In these roles, she spent 10-plus years as a banker to publicly-traded, sponsor-owned, and privately-owned middle market companies across a wide variety of industries, including Construction, Manufacturing, Retail, and Professional Services. She managed over $50MM in client assets and gained experience originating, structuring, underwriting, and executing middle market transactions. Ms. de la Prida has a BS in Accounting from the SUNY-Geneseo School of Business and a MBA in Finance from Fordham University.

Robert Moosally

Robert T. Moosally, DO, FACEP

President / Regional Medical Director - Midwestern Division

Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, Robert T. Moosally earned his doctoral degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. Dr. Moosally has extensive operational and clinical leadership experience. Under his direction, an independent emergency medicine residency program was established and approved by the American Osteopathic Association at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio, where he served as the Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director for three years.

Dr. Moosally became a Regional Medical Director of 4M Emergency in 2012. Following 4M’s 2014 merger with Island Medical Management, Dr. Moosally began serving as President of the Midwest Region. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Moosally’s peers and colleagues have bestowed upon him several acknowledgements and awards of recognition including Outstanding Specialty Preceptor of the Year, as voted by Ohio University Medical Students, and Outstanding Physician Partner, as voted by the nursing staff at St. Joseph Health Center.

Martin Trpis

Martin Trpis, Esq.

Vice President of Operations & General Counsel

Martin Trpis, Esq., is a member of the management team for Island Medical Management, serving as its General Counsel and Vice President of Operations.

He has been practicing law for 28 years. He worked for 23 years in the National Capital area (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) as a litigator focusing on complex medical malpractice litigation and advising of medical businesses. He is admitted to practice of law in Montana, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In May 2010 he accepted a position as General Counsel with Pegasus Emergency Management of Bozeman, Montana. After IMM’s acquisition of Pegasus in May 2014, he was appointed to his current position serving as legal counsel for all of Island Medical Management group of companies. His focus is on proactive risk management in the delivery of healthcare services, integration of the diverse practices comprising the IMM group of companies, corporate compliance, contract negotiation and active litigation management including malpractice, business litigation and employment law.

Mike Reed

Mike Reed, MPH

Chief Development Officer

Mike Reed, MPH, joined the IMM team as Chief Development Officer in 2016. With over 35 years of senior leadership experience in multiple facets of the health care industry, Mr. Reed brings to his position a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to physician management and patient care.

With an eye towards identifying new prospective partners and driving both organic and inorganic growth, Mr. Reed provides oversight and direction to the development of our organization.

Mr. Reed obtained his Masters of Public Health graduate degree from the UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health in Las Angeles, CA. His previous roles include serving as CEO of TeamHealth Hospital Medicine, President of the Emergency Medicine division of Sound Physicians, and President of HealthCare Partners of Nevada.
